Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up & transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After arriving at Kigali/Entebbe International airport, the driver guide from Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort will be right there waiting for you. Meet, greet and have a quick read through the itinerary. You will then drive to Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort located on the shores of Africa’s second deepest lake Bunyonyi.

Day 2:1^st Meeting conference at the resort

Have an early morning breakfast and head over to the resort hall for your 1^st conference meeting. Spend this entire day on the lake bunyonyi with an overnight camping

Day 3: Boat cruise &Zip lining at Lake Bunyonyi

After having breakfast, embark on a boat cruise to explore the beauty of Lake Bunyonyi. Boat cruising is an interesting venture, which offers you great scenic views of the lake, local communities, farms and rolling hills of kigezi. Cruise to explore different islands of the lake and learn about the formation of each island. Have lunch at the resort and in the afternoon go for the adventurous zip lining experience. This entails swimming above the calm waters of Lake Bunyonyi between either shores of the lake. Overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort

Day 4: 2^nd Meeting on the resort

Have a well-prepared heavy breakfast, and Start your 2^nd meeting. Full day in the conference and have a boat ride on the lake bunyonyi

Day 5: Community tour & Nyombe Swamp Walk

Following breakfast at the resort, you will go for a community tour to meet and interact with local people. The batwa pygmies will narrate how they lived with wild animals in the Virunga mountains jungles for over 1000 years. The community tour gives you chance to experience the local way of living, take part in different activities such as preparing local foods, peeling, taking care of babies, grinding sorghum and making local breweries. The locals will also perform traditional dances, and songs welcoming you into their communities. Return to the lodge for lunch and refreshment. In the evening, go for a nature walk in Nyombe swamp, which harbors a variety of birds and insects. The nature walk gives you a fresh feeling of the natural environment.

Day 6: Departure

Have a relaxed sunrise breakfast while enjoying the last moments on the shores of this beautiful lake. You will then check out and transfer to the airport for your departure flight
