Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: LAKE BUNYONYI (KABALE) FOR THE SUNSET DINNER CRUISE
Get briefed by your tour driver at the hotel and leave for Lake Bunyonyi, Kabale district in Southwestern Uganda. Your drive will last for 8 hours with en route stopover to be made at the Equator and Igongo cultural centre. Enjoy the stunning views of the rolling hills in the far southwestern part of Uganda. Arrive early and check in at your pre-booked Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort.
DAY 2: CHILL AT THE RESORT, CANOE RIDE PLUS SUNSET CRUISE EXCURSION
Have a relaxed stay at the resort with breakfast in bed, lunch at the restaurant. Late in the afternoon, you will have a memorable sunset dinner cruise. Enjoy the views of the terraced hills while you sip your drinks ranging from wines, beers to soft drinks. You will also have some tasty snacks, and delicious meals then retire for a night at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort.
DAY 3: GO ZIP LINING AND VISIT THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
Embark on a thrilling zip lining experience across the lake while viewing the surrounding islands. Return and embark on a guided cultural walk around the Bakiga village. Meet and interact with the locals, learn about their unique traditions, cultures, and lifestyles. Your cultural expedition will be accompanied by the traditional dances and cultures.
DAY 4: LAKE BUNYONYI BACK TO KAMPALA
A leisurely breakfast in the morning and start your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, driving via Mbarara –Masaka. Lunch will be served en route at Mbarara and another session of photography at the Equator crossing then you will continue to Kampala/Entebbe city.
