Day 1:Check in at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort & Nature Walk
Upon your arrival, meet and greet a driver guide from Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort. He/she will then transfer you to the resort located on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi, which ranks as the second deepest lake in Africa. Check into the resort and refresh. In the evening go for a nature walk around Lake Bunyonyi. The walk is best for bird watching and also an opportunity to meet and interact with local people some of whom are grazing cattle, goats while other are returning from their gardens. Enjoy the beautiful sunset clearly best for photography. Overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort.
Day 2: Transfer to Kigali for a conference
Early in the morning, have breakfast at Bunyonyi Rock Resort and start your conference meeting as you spend this whole day feeling the lake Bunyonyi environment
Day 3: Boat cruising & Departure
Have a relaxed sunrise breakfast on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi and then go for a boat cruise to explore the hidden gem of Lake Bunyonyi. The cruise takes you to see the punishment island where Bakiga girls who got pregnant before marriage would be taken and left to die. The other islands to explore on this lake include Bwama Island, Bushara Island, Akampene Island and Bucuraniko Island among others. The boat cruise offers you scenic views of local homesteads, farms and the beautiful kigezi rolling hills. Return to the lodge for lunch, check out and transfer to the airport for departure flight
