Day 1: Pick up & head off to Lake Bunyonyi
Pick up and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi located in Southwestern Uganda, about 7-8 hours’ drive from Kampala. The long day trip to Lake Bunyonyi includes a stopover at the Equator crossing and at Igongo cultural centre for a delicious lunch break. Proceed to check in at your pre-booked resort –Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort.
Day 2: Canoe ride and sunset dinner boat cruise
After a hefty breakfast, meet the local guide ready for your canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi. This memorable canoe ride comes with amazing views of the islands, spectacular surrounding areas and visit to the Punishment Island. Get back and lunch to be provided at the resort’s restaurant and have some time to relax. The late afternoon will include the sunset dinner cruise which includes snacks, meals, wines, beers and a lot more. You will retire for the night at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort.
Day 3: Depart
At leisure, enjoy breakfast and you will be picked up at the resort fully prepared for your return trip to Entebbe or Kampala city. En route stopover points: Equator crossing and Igongo cultural centre, then continue to the hotel/place of residence in Kampala/Entebbe.
