Detailed 1: Day Bwindi gorilla tour & Batwa Cultural tour

Rise up very early and enjoy your breakfast at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort. You will be given packed lunch and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for gorilla trekking. Report to the respective park headquarters depending on the sector you will visit. After registering, the park rangers will briefly take you through the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable gorilla encounter. The actual trek to meet gorillas’ start at 8:00am! The trek through the jungle is an opportunity to meet other wild animals such as Forest Elephants, African buffalos and colobus monkeys among others. After meeting the gorillas, spend an hour in their company, learning and embracing their humanly characters. You are advised to observe the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking throughout the trekking experience. If time allows in the evening, you will visit the batwa communities near Lake Bunyonyi to learn and experience their traditional forest life. Overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort
